Description
This shows a loop of small intestine, obstructed by a band of fibrous tissue and fat, with some
dilatation of the bowel proximal to the adhesion, but with greater distension and marked congestion
of the serosa in the obstructed loop. The proximal part of the bowel appears normal. The band has
been supported and outlined by a small strip of material.
